Hannah Hesselberg

Management associate and teaching assistant at GTK Cyber, supporting course operations and assisting instructors during training delivery. Currently pursuing a B.A. in Computer Science with minors in Cybersecurity and Mathematics at Florida Atlantic University’s College of Computer Science and Engineering.

Project work centers on applied cryptography and web application security. Built a SQL injection demonstration on a custom Python and Flask application with a simulated login and backing database, and implemented the El Gamal encryption scheme from scratch. On a software engineering team project, wrote SDD, SRS, and STD documentation to IEEE specifications and documented token forgery risks against the OWASP Top 10. CompTIA ITF+ certified, with CCNA preparation coursework completed.

Spent the 2024 to 2025 academic year at Kansai Gaidai University in Japan, studying Japanese language and Kanji while continuing computer science coursework remotely. Earlier, led a high school CyberPatriot team through its first season to the seventh round of competition and ran student seminars on digital forensics and Unix command line work.
